Border Enforcement
Citizens and tourists alike are getting detained at the border and held for interrogation. Devices have been searched and seized. Some tourists have been held for weeks at a time over paperwork issues and decades-old misdemeanors.
Federal Detention
ICE, Border Patrol, and local police are coordinating to detain legal residents for interrogations. Thousands who have simply been accused of immigration violations are in custody. Conditions are unsafe, unhealthy and abusive. Citizens have been held until they could provide proof of citizenship.
Travel Bans
Haiti, Iran, Senegal, Ivory Coast. Some FIFA countries have had travel and visas restricted, while others have been outright banned.
